Average gasoline prices fell last week in the Mid-Hudson Valley but stayed well above $4 a gallon, according to GasBuddy.com.

Local averages Monday morning, according to GasBuddy, were $4.20 in Ulster County, down 20 cents from last week; $4.39 in Dutchess County, down 11 cents from last week; $4.31 in Greene County, down 14 cents from last week; and $4.31 in Columbia County,  down 8 cents from last week.
